8am – this service follows the 1662 Book of Common Prayer service of Holy Communion. It is for those who prefer a quieter, more reflective and traditional form of service. There are no hymns and our normal attendance is 20 to 30 adults.
9.30am – this service follows the Service of Holy Communion in Common Worship published in the year 2000. It uses contemporary language and we sing the best hymns from both traditional and modern collections. The service is followed by coffee in the Parish Rooms (just across the road) where all are welcome. The TYGRE Club meets in the Church at the start of worship and leaves after the first hymn for their own singing, lessons and activities rejoining the service in time to receive communion or a blessing.
9.30am – 1st Sunday in the month – we all stay in church for a more interactive style of worship suitable for all ages (the service therefore usually lasts about 40 to 50 minutes). Every other month the service includes baptism.
6pm – The services at St Margaret’s will include Taizé, contemporary worship, testimony, Evensong and Café Style Church in a regular pattern.
